Contract
The Armonico String Ensemble is committed to high quality music and client satisfaction. Please read carefully and direct all questions to the appropriate Armonico String Ensemble office.
Our financial policy is as follows:
1. To formally book the event described on Page 1 of this document, the client must provide a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total price of services, reported on Page 2 of this document. The Armonico String Ensemble will make known to me the total price before I send the 20% deposit. The Armonico String Ensemble is not officially booked until confirmed receipt of deposit.
2. The client will pay the outstanding balance at least 10 business days prior to the event. The Armonico String Ensemble will provide me the date that the outstanding balance is due (which will be 10 business days before the event).
3. The client understands that if the total balance is not received by the Armonico String Ensemble 10 business days before the day of the client’s event, the Ensemble will not be present and will retain the 20% deposit.
The Armonico String Ensemble does not assume responsibility for not playing, or poor acoustic quality, in the case of rain, thunderstorms, extreme heat, and unexpected logistical challenges on the part of the client’s event coordinating party. The Armonico String Ensemble strongly recommends performance INSIDE a temperature-controlled environment. For outdoor performances, a shaded/covered performance area (tent, gazebo, porch, etc.) must be provided by the client.
The client is entitled to a “grace period” after the contractually scheduled time of performance up to 30 minutes, to provide time for delay in the event of rain, logistical issues of the event, or other unexpected challenges. AFTER this grace period has expired, The Armonico String Ensemble will begin to charge $50 per musician for every 30 minutes that has expired after the contractually scheduled beginning time of performance. (As an example, for a quartet performing a wedding that is delayed 35 minutes, the client will be billed $200.) The client understands that the financially responsible party or individual will be provided an invoice for this amount and agrees to pay this fee if the client’s event exceeds 30 minutes of grace period allowance.
The Armonico String Ensemble will refund the entire outstanding balance only if cancelled prior to the 2-week deadline. If the Armonico String Ensemble musical services are cancelled within 10 business days of the scheduled event, the Armonico String Ensemble will NOT return the outstanding balance or deposit, and will keep all payments rendered. However, Armonico will work with the client to try to provide the same contracted musical services if the event is rescheduled to a different date and time. There is no guarantee or promise that Armonico will be available at the event’s rescheduled date and time.
By signing this form, the client understands and agrees to abide by these financial policies and stipulations regarding his/her (or the representative company’s) financial commitments to the Armonico String Ensemble.
