Types of Ensembles
The Armonico String Ensemble currently offers four ensemble sizes. All of these ensembles perform at the highest professional standards and can perform the exact same musical repertoire.
String Quartet
The string quartet is one of the most elegant performing groups in the history of classical music. A string quartet includes two violins, one viola, and one cello. The string quartet is one of the most popular options available from the Armonico String Ensemble and is highly recommended for larger ceremonies and receptions.
String Trio
The string trio includes two violins (or one violin and one viola) and one cello. This ensemble provides a great value between fullness of sound and cost, and is probably Armonico’s most popular ensemble.
String Duet
For an intimate ceremony, the string duet is an outstanding choice. The string duet includes one violin and one cello. When budgetary goals are important, the duet is a wonderful high-quality solution.
String Solo
A strolling violin is the perfect touch for a wedding proposal or a romantic dinner. Or perhaps a cellist performing unaccompanied Bach is what you have in mind. Either way, this is when the Armonico solo performance can’t be topped!
